I CAN'T NOT MAKE GAMES.

I have enough lockerspace to hold an episode of Friends.

"We'll make a toast to absent friends and better days,
To remembering and being remembered as brave
And not as a bunch of whining jerks!

Don't lose your nerve.
Do not go straight
You must testify
(or I'm going to come to your house and punch you in the mouth)
cause CLOWNS MUST STAND."

- TW/IFS, "All The World Is A Stage Dive"
Iron Gaia
As the only human awake on board a space station controlled by an insane AI with delusions of deification, you must unravel the mystery of your own identity and discover: "What is the Iron Gaia?"

This game looks sweet. I have no idea what the status of my live account is since I never use it. I'll try to find out.

Where are you going today?

I am sitting at my house all day, because I am an unemployed college graduate bum, and that's what I do every day, 0-2 hours (1d3-1) job surfing, 2-8 (2d4) hours working on RPG Maker.

Oh, wait, that's not true, some time this evening my girlfriend is coming down to pick me up and we'll go hang out at my old school, where all my friends, who are either younger than me, or fuck-ups who didn't graduate, still are. I will stay there until very, very late then we'll come back here around 3 or 4 tomorrow morning and pass out from exhaustion. This is what I do on weekends and tuesdays.

Get paid to sprite!

Damn, too bad you're not hiring writers. : (

Unemployed, published, dead broke writer here. : (
Will work 4 fud.

If you get stuck, I have some modern/futuristic RMXP tilesets lying around my computer that might be the kind of thing you're looking or. I don't think they are resources a lot of people have seen. I wouldn't charge for them, obviously, I think that they're rips, and they're not even rips I did. Of course, I'll give the spriters here a chance to get paid, first.

OH, AND IN MY EXPERIENCE, MIXING AMATEUR GAME DESIGN AND MONEY IN ANY WAY IS A REALLY, REALLY BAD IDEA FOR A MILLION REASONS I COULD LIST HERE BUT WON'T-

::sigh:: But I'll just say do as ye will. People always do anyway.

Rei-: For some reason, I really like the look of your protagonist there. His attire, to me, seems more modern than medieval, in a good way.

And of course the map that frames himis very, very nice, whether modern or medieval. A very organic looking forest and path. What project is this from? I'm curious: what is the gameplay in that area like? (Pretty maps should never come at the expense of functionality; a map's primary purpose is to be an interesting gameplay area.)

Does anyone else find it disturbing how many more views this topic has than any actual game topics here? Everybody really, really wants to flex their e-penis I guess...
*sigh*

EDIT: Oh, well part of the reason is that this topic is incredibly old, and was recently resurrected. Nice necropost, Aten!

Resource Request: RMVX Icons

Wow, that is really, really good. Thanks Karsu....maybe I'll zip up the bevy of futuristic RMXP Icons I have and put those up here too.

Resource Request: RMVX Icons

I swear, I did a google search before coming here. But, as usual, my googling was fruitless. So, a query for you all:

Does anyone know where I can get a bunch of new RMVX icons, preferably some futuristicy/moderny type ones?

Edit: I found some old RMXP icons on my computer that are all separate little PNGs, but they'd have to be resized/compiled together, which seems like it would be incredibly tedious, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of any big sheets of icons, possibly from one of those japaneezy sites people like to link to.

If not, I'll just have to try to make a big icon sheet out of these icons and some of the default icons.

RMVX Icons: Post yours.

How often on RM?

BlindSight, are you the same guy as BlindMind, the creator of Beloved Rapture?

COMPLETE: EPIC MONSTER DUNGEON EXPLORE 2

Good but not as good as SWORDBLADE.

Who Watches the Watchmen?

Read it again, you may get it now that you are older and more mature. I don't at all mean this to be condescending or assuming you're young, and I don't want to come off that way. Like, seriously, even if you were 35 then and you're 37 now, it's worth a second read. Watchmen is one of the densest, darkest, most complex and most layered literary works ever, and definitely the most "grown up" comic book in the world.

At 22 and after two readings, I'm still not sure that I entirely get it, but I can catch a glimpse of so much depth there that I immediately respect it as art.

@Shadowtext:
Yes, it basically IS about whores. See the trailer.
